Mental Health
Whether you are looking to increase your overall wellbeing and fulfilment through positive psychology, gain clarity on the mental health challenges you are facing or find better ways to manage an existing mental health condition, our team can recommend the best clinician to match your goals and individual preferences.
Depression and anxiety impact the lives of many Australians. We all feel down or anxious at some point, but it becomes an illness when it impacts your quality of life, lasts a significant period of time, or impairs your ability to function socially or within your workplace.
At Buderim Medical Centre, our GPs are trained in recognising and managing mental illness and can help you get back on the right path. We do ask you to please book a long consultation (30-minutes) if you need to discuss mental health concerns with your GP, as this gives your doctor time to provide comprehensive and meaningful assistance.
If you want general mental health support and information:

Patients often visit our Buderim clinic for mental health care plans, support for anxiety and depression, counselling referrals and ongoing mental health management with their GP.
