Buderim Medical Centre is a family-owned and independent practice.
Buderim Medical Centre has been a trusted choice for primary healthcare since it was established in 2001 by Drs Simon and Penny Jeaffreson. The practice is committed to supporting experienced general practitioners in providing thorough and compassionate care. This is made possible by the support of skilled nursing and administrative staff and a welcoming environment that helps patients feel safe and at ease.
After many years managing the practice, Dr Simon and Dr Penny have chosen to focus more on their clinical work while enjoying the Sunshine Coast lifestyle they cherish. Management responsibilities have now transitioned to Dr Paul Welsman, ensuring continued support for the delivery of high-quality patient care.
Dr Paul brings nearly a decade of experience as a General Practitioner and is passionate about upholding the high standard of care that Buderim Medical Centre is known for. He began his medical training in Newcastle, NSW, and has since gained extensive experience working across Queensland. Now settled on the Sunshine Coast with his wife, a locally practicing paediatrician, and their three young children, he is proud to call this community home. Dr Paul is committed to fostering a warm and professional environment where patients feel valued and supported.
